200-ICP Hardware Survey

When looking at a 200ICP remotely, it can be difficult to see what hardware is inside it.  There isn't one consolidated place to look!

Stratum 3 clock
From the maintenance terminal, run system -> show -> identity.  You'll see something similar to the following:
 ┌───────────────────┬───────────────────────────┬────────────────────────────┐
│ CONTROL CARD │ CURRENTLY RUNNING │ FLASH CARD FIRMWARE │

The "---" by the clock section would say "ST3" if there were a clock module installed. And while we're looking at this, I'll point out that Mitel has a problem with v5.0.0.18 which causes a major alarm in the 200 AX platform.  Because Mitel borrowed programming from the 3300 when releasing v5.0.0.18, and because the 3300 features a redundant power supply, the 200 will trigger a major caused by PSU failure if there isn't a redundant PSU installed.  Mitel fixed this bug and has new software available from mitel online; the solution is (like so many other problems) to upgrade!
